[Ever since Sora got hurt, Riku's been on-edge. He's been searching the village from top to bottom to find Vanitas. And not only that, he's been doing it without even telling his friends.

When he heard that another nearly got killed by Vanitas, that just fueled his resolve. He's going to find Vanitas if it's the last thing he does.
