Movie Marathon!

Who: Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Arsene Lupin III, Ami Mizuno, Adele Leblanc, Leonardo, Gambit, and anyone else who has the desire to show up.
What: Star Wars Movie Marathon
When: February 21st to whenever its done
Where: Luke and Ben's place
Summary: Luke and Ben have decided to just end the constant cycle of confusion and actually WATCH the Star Wars movies. There is soda (gasp!) popcorn, canned tea, and all sorts of other movie related nonsense.
Rating: PG, same as the movies (Could get PG13? doubtful)

Some movies, yeah. These I've seen more than a few times, but they haven't gotten old yet.

They probably never will either. I've only seen episodes 4-6, but I've watched them a ton.

Lucas hasn't yet made the prequels where I'm from, though your brother informs me that they're kinda terrible. Say it ain't so, would ya?

So have I. We have all six in my world, but one through three have been harder for us to get.

[Leo thinks for a moment. Of course he's not as much of a computer geek as his brother is.]

Well, admittedly in the newer ones they do use more...uh, images made on a computer. [A pause. Not that Lupin probably knows what it is anyway.] CGI? Yeah, that.

I admit I like what was done in the earlier movies though. Amazing what they accomplished back then.

[That's...disappointing. He knows it, but also knows that it looks cheesy and stupid--its enough to make him avoid watching a lot of movies anymore.]

...Lucas should have just stuck with the puppets and animatronics. They were costly, but spectacular!

Well, not completely CG. There's still some actual actors. But I'm pretty sure they're not using puppets or models.

At least they went with real actors at least--still, that makes me a little sad~

The originals are among my favorite films, you know.

Yeah...the newer ones don't feel as...special, knowing less effort was put into them.

[He's not putting down computer work. No doubt that takes effort to, but to doo he did with models and all was amazing.]
