Summary: The Tales of Villains have banded together and plotting something devious that could threaten all of Luceti. It's up to the Tales of Heroes to find out what they're up to and put a stop to them!

Alexei had sent out messages to various members of Luceti about a disturbance just outside the village.

"To those who see this. There has been a large increase of monsters appearing outside the village and threatening the safety of this village. There's something odd about these monsters too, certainly none that I've seen here. I'm sending this out, requesting some assistance to remove these creatures before they bring harm to anyone. Currently, the monsters are holding their position on the east side of town. Please come and help if you can."

[It seemed like a simple enough request, at least. There were some dangerous monsters lurking around, and he and some other people were being asked to investigate and put a stop to them? Not a big deal. Sure, Asbel had to wonder why he was picked out of everyone. Surely there had to be better warriors than he? ...Unless they were asked as well. Then it would make sense to ask him as well if they needed more firepower.

...Oh, he didn't have time to wonder about that! Whatever the case was, the fact remained that his help was needed! If these monsters were threatening the safety of the village, then it was up to him to step up and protect it! He'd do that even if he wasn't asked!

So he approaches the east side of town as instructed. Time to see what's going on here...]

[...They were asking her to deal with monsters? Seriously? She ought to igno --]

[She...she's not quite sure why she's here right now. It just seemed like the right thing to do. Sort of like how it seemed like the right thing to pull out her old magical girl outfit along with the dolphin rod pictured there. If asked, she would probably say something about how she was the only one who didn't have a proper heroic outfit or sufficiently silly mage weapon, and then look somewhat confused, as though she's not quite sure why she said that.

(It is to be noted that she has also included leggings and arm-warmers to this outfit out of a tendency to cover up a little better than the outfit provides.)

Regardless, she is here and ready to defend the town!! ...Even if a small part of her is trying to tell herself that she is not supposed to be that heroic. And she doesn't look exactly thrilled to be here. Dammit, event!!]

[Raven wandered over towards the east of the town, following the instructions in the message whilst wearing a more archer like attire. He was expecting to find people here, but he wasn't entirely sure what they would be up against.]

Ah! Nice ta see I'm not the only person who got the memo then!

[Alright, so you rescued your filthy little companion and managed to catch a glimpse of their highly mysterious and highly nefarious cannon. Whatever. You know that moment when everything seems too easy and you know something has to go awry?

That moment is now.

When you're done staring at the cannon like morons and trying to figure out what to do, Mithos will be over here blocking the only entrance. He's sitting astride his noble steed Noishe with an imperious glare, stave ready, while...said noble steed looks entirely unsure about everything ever.

Anyone in the mood for a generic bad guy speech? Today might be your lucky day.]

[At last. At long last the canon is complete and ready to be operated! It's about time, no thanks to the no-talent fool Dist was unhappily paired with. Hmph! Thinking he knows anything about mechanics...he hasn't the faintest idea of the beauty and complexity of this wondrous creation's design! Thinking he could actually CHANGE it, improve it! HA! One does not improve perfection, especially not one such as...oh, what was his name? Dist really couldn't be bothered to remember.

Dist scoffs quietly as he checks over the canon one final time. It should be all ready to activate. Everything should run smoothly according to his ingenious design...]

[Finally. That damn cannon is finally ready. The moment could not have come soon enough. Yuan's sick and tired of working with that arrogant, snot-nosed pansy of a man. All of his designs criticized, all of his initiatives shot down... With Dist in charge, the only creativity approved was his own- which, in Yuan's opinion, resulted in additions to the cannon that served no purpose other than to exude eccentricity.

Well, if this works, Yuan won't need to work with men like Dist anymore. He'll gain enough power and credibility to start his own projects. All they have to do is activate it.]

[It's been a long and difficult road, but at long last, you've made it to the final dungeon. Soon, you will confront the evil mastermind of this terrible plot and make him see how twisted his path truly is. You must be prepared for anything, for monsters and traps and fiendishly difficult puzzles....

[Sure, why the heck not? Let's get some villain interaction going!

In the break between Act 1 and Act 2, Yuan is taking a break from cannon construction. He can't bear to spend another minute in the same room with Dist without trying to strangle the man, so now he's just wandering the halls of the villain area.]

[Alexei was standing around in the observatory area of the villain hall, looking over a report he had received from his placed mole within that band of heroes he had sent messages to.

He looked up from the report when he heard footsteps and noticed Yuan coming his way.]
